Some of the best proof of what a machine can do comes straight from the field it was working in. This summer we demonstrated the 2.5m Moore Unidrill (supplied by J & S Montgomery) at Hillside Farm on the Isle of Arran, run by Callum Lindsay of C Lindsay Farming – Hillside and Monyquil Farms.
The demonstration overseeded a fresh grass mix into an existing sward, run behind Callum’s own Massey Ferguson 5713S. No ploughing, no separate cultivation pass – the Unidrill went straight into the standing sward and placed seed accurately in one pass.
