Moore Unidrill 5-Year Warranty on Frame & Bearings

Moore Unidrill drills have earned a strong reputation for reliability, longevity and simple, proven engineering. From 1 January 2026, eligible new Moore Unidrill machines supplied through an authorised Moore dealer will be covered by a new 5‑year warranty covering the frame and bearings.
This extended cover reflects the long-term confidence Moore Unidrill has in the machine’s build quality, while keeping the warranty clear, practical and suitable for real-world farming.

What’s Covered?

Main Frame
Structural components and weld integrity against proven manufacturing defects.
Disc Bearings
Bearing failures caused by proven manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
Machines supplied before 1 January 2026 remain covered by the standard 1-year warranty, unless otherwise confirmed in writing by Moore Unidrill Manufacturing Ltd.

Important Warranty Conditions

Warranty cover is subject to the machine being operated, serviced and maintained in accordance with the operator’s manual.
✔ Registration is required
Warranty registration must be completed by the supplying dealer within 1 month of the machine being supplied to the end user/on farm. Failure to complete registration within this period may affect warranty cover and may result in claims being rejected. Warranty registrations submitted only after a fault, failure or claim has arisen may not be accepted.
✔ Normal wear and tear is excluded
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, impact damage, incorrect machine set-up, excessive disc wear, lack of maintenance, use of non-genuine parts, unsuitable operating conditions, excessive forward speed, or continued operation after a fault has become apparent.
✔ Genuine parts must be used
Warranty cover is conditional on the use of genuine Moore Unidrill replacement parts. Claims may be rejected where non-OEM parts have been fitted, supplied or used, or where such parts may have contributed to the failure, damage or fault being claimed for.
✔ Repairs must be authorised in advance
Warranty repairs, replacement parts, labour, travel or associated costs must not be undertaken or incurred without prior written authorisation from Moore Unidrill Manufacturing Ltd. Retrospective claims will not be accepted unless authorised in writing before the work was carried out.
Clear, practical cover designed for real-world farming, supported by correct machine registration, maintenance and authorised dealer support.

Disc Wear and Bearing Life

Bearing life is affected by disc condition, hub condition, bolt tightness, working depth, forward speed, soil conditions, stone impact and routine maintenance.
The original Moore Unidrill disc diameter is approximately 415 mm. Discs should be checked regularly and replaced once they have worn by approximately 15% from their original diameter. As a guide, replacement should be considered once discs are approaching approximately 355 mm diameter.
Operating with discs beyond the recommended wear limit can reduce cutting and penetration performance, alter the working geometry of the drill, increase vibration and shock loading, and place additional stress on the hub and bearing assemblies.
Failures linked to excessive disc wear may not be treated as warranty failures.

Warranty Repairs and Claims

Where a warranty claim is submitted, Moore Unidrill Manufacturing Ltd may request supporting evidence before the claim can be assessed. This may include machine serial number, date of supply, warranty registration, photos of the failed component, disc diameter measurements, operating conditions, maintenance history and confirmation that genuine Moore Unidrill parts have been used.

Built to Last – Backed to Last

Whether drilling grass, cover crops or combinable crops, every eligible new Moore Unidrill supplied from 1 January 2026 comes with long-term frame and bearing support, backed by correct registration, maintenance and authorised dealer support.
