A & SJ Charlesworth, farmers and contractors based near Sheffield, have been running a Moore Unidrill for more than five years. The photos here tell the story better than we can: clean, even rows going into a well-prepared seedbed, and the result a few weeks later, a thick, uniform crop with no gaps and no weak patches.

Charlesworth run the drill behind a John Deere 6R Series, and the setup shows what the Unidrill is built for: direct drilling straight into stubble and trash, with minimal cultivation and minimal fuss. The disc coulters cut through residue instead of dragging it, so seed goes into the ground at a consistent depth across the full working width. That consistency is what shows up in the germination photo. Even emergence, no thin strips, no rework.
Five years of use on a working farm is a better verdict than any spec sheet. The drill still does the job it was bought to do, and the people running it clearly know its worth.
